Weight and length relationships of 2 fish Species from River Barandu district Buner, Khyber Pakhunkhwa Pakistan
Abstract
Length and weight relationships were estimated for 2 fish species caught from the River Barandu District Buner Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan in the period of January 2014 to December 2014. A total of 20 fish samples belonging to family Cyprinidae were collected randomly from the river barandu. In current study the Labeo rohita was bearing the mean length of 36.58 cm and weight 9 kg while the mean length of Tor putitora was 45.72 cm and weight 6 kg.
